‘Urban Sanitation’ - India’s first magazine for clean cities, launched in the year
2012 deals with the immensely significant and topical issue of sanitation in India.
To mark three years of its publication, a one-day conference cum felicitation ceremony
– Smart Green Sanitation for Smart Green Cities- for excellence in
sanitation across India is being organised with the aim to blaze new thought processes
and ideas on the subject.The event will drive home the point that with safe and
secure sanitation come responsibilities towards the environment as well.
The conference will have presentations and panel discussions by eminent specialists
on relevant topics and pressing issues that concern social and administrative aspects
of sanitation in our cities. ‘Urban Sanitation Hurrah!’ - a felicitation
and recognition of exceptional work done by individuals, organisations and experts
towards making India a cleaner place will be held on the same day.
